Hampton returneth to rock!

You may have noticed that I've been absent in the rock poster world for some time now. After 15 years for creating them I simply needed a break so I spent the last nine months working on commercial jobs and making art prints. This Friday marks my return to creating rock posters. Musicfest NW poster show

This coming Thursday August 6th in Portland, Oregon at the 3rd Annual MusicfestNW Poster Show. The showing is an exhibition of posters for the upcoming MusicfestNW (Sept.16-20) and is the visual component to Portland's biggest music festival. My Bad Brains poster will be on display and for sale. Other artists in the show include Casey Burns, Guy Burwell, Mike King, Jeff Kleinsmith, Dan Stiles and many others. The opening exhibit takes place at Backspace (115 NW 5th Ave) and runs from August 6th through September 3rd, 2009.

Flatstock 22 at Bumbershoot in Seattle

I can't believe that it's actually the 22nd Flatstock already. Geez, time has flown! I haven't attended one of these in literally years...maybe 2004-5? Anyhow, it's a good excuse to come visit folks in Seattle and sell some goods! If you're in the Emerald City come on by my table and say hello.
